Eyebuydirect Nightmare: 19 Days & STILL No Glasses! 😡
My recent online shopping experience with Eyebuydirect has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story as a stark warning. I desperately needed new glasses after my old pair broke, so I ordered on March 30th and paid extra for express 3-5 day shipping. Yet, day 5 came, then day 10, and my order was still stuck in production. By day 11, I was furious and called customer service, feeling they had no crap about their customers. I wanted a shipping refund because these glasses were STILL 6 days out, and as of day 19, I still had no glasses! This terrible company made me realize I needed to speak up and seek answers.
Customer: I ordered glasses on March 30th and paid for express 3-5 day shipping. It's now day 11 and my order is still in production. What is going on? CS Rep: I understand your frustration. I see your order and there has been an unexpected delay in the production process. Customer: Unexpected? I paid extra because my old glasses broke! Now I'm told they're still six days out! I want my express shipping refunded immediately. CS Rep: I sincerely apologize for the delay and the inconvenience this has caused. I can certainly process a full refund for your express shipping fee right away. Customer: So I get my $10 back, but what about my glasses? It’s day 19 now, and I still don’t have them! This is just terrible, terrible, terrible. CS Rep: I understand your urgency. I am escalating your order to our highest priority for immediate dispatch and will ensure you receive a tracking update within 24 hours. We truly regret this prolonged wait.
